Handmade Pallet-Caster Electric Guitar

Here we have a homemade solid bodied pallet wood guitar. Three layers of pallet wood have been glued and screwed together to make a solid board and then the shape cut out. All my builds follow an upcycling/recycling theme and use a mix of new and used parts.

Everything on this guitar is new barring the wood for the bodywork and the tasty Ohio licenseplate which really sets the angles off a treat. It has a lovely clean tone to it which rocks up nicely when the overdrive comes into play. My style of build is a rustic one which is a nod to the barnwood/barncaster builds I see online.

The pallet wood has been sanded but only to remove the risk of splinters, and an antique pine wax has been polished in to give it a nice tint. This is an adjustment to the original post and to those who have been watching this guitar.
