What we have here is a full solid bodied pallet-wood Telecaster inspired guitar. I love the'Barn-wood' built guitars and this one follows the rustic/rugged style in which they are made. The body is made from two layers of pallet wood glued and screwed together to make a solid board from which the shape was cut. It has a mix of new and used parts to keep in with my recycling theme.
I always like my telecasters to be a little different with their set ups and the bridge hum-bucker adds another dimension to standard neck unit. The controls are straightforward, a simple one volume/one tone that runs through a three way selector switch to give you a bridge, neck or both pickups together. Though I say so myself, this is a great guitar. It's completely mad but plays really nice. It is a chunky, rugged guitar, but weight-wise it is only a fraction heavier than my standard Squier Tele. As an art installation it would look cool hanging on the wall as a bonkers feature, but as with my other builds it is a perfectly usable guitar.
