These guitars were only produced from 1998 - 2000 and then renamed the Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway Plus. The differences between this and the Standard are mostly the weight (hence the'Lite' nomenclature) and aesthetically I think it's just that there's no neck binding on the Lite and there's an unstamped gold truss rod cover instead of the plastic Standard item.
The truss rod cover shown is a Schaller replacement as the original (in the case) became tarnished. You also get an Ernie Ball strap with strap locks as these guitars were fitted with locking strap buttons as standard from the factory.
An ordinary strap can be used if desired and you can always fit the strap locks to your own favourite strap. You can see from the photos that the pickups are the originals with a 492 R in the neck position and a 57 Classic in the bridge. Overall, the presentation of this guitar is astonishing and the colour is fabulous. It's really easy to wear, the 24 frets are in great condition, the pickups are powerful and sweet and the playability is phenomenal with super low action.
The video also provides some history to these awesome guitars which may be of interest. Whenever I restring, I always remove the pickups to make sure everything is correct about these instruments and the photos show you exactly what you're getting.
