Re-creation of the Original 87 ESP Surveyor Bass Gives a Modern Edge to a Familiar Favorite. This is a Brand new bass that was tried out and unfortunately shows some very light pick scratches on the gloss black finish from certain angles (pictured). Not very noticeable overall and its likely to wear in these areas quickly anyway due to the gloss black ut it is still brand new and there are not other issues. The LTD Surveyor 87 electric bass is a faithful recreation of the Surveyor bass that graced the pages of ESPs 1987 catalog. Featuring the coveted ESP Surveyor body shape with a classic bolt-on design, an expressive and playable 34 scale, the Surveyor 87 has an Alder body with Maple neck and Macassar Ebony fingerboard.
