Alex Lifeson's New Signature Model! Rare as hen's teeth. This is the only one of these available in UK today. I ordered it a long time ago and it arrived but circumstances have changed so sadly it's up for sale. When it arrived it needed a proper set-up so I fitted 8s to make the guitar a lot easier to play. The standard 10s felt very heavy on it. The bridge is not an easy set-up and took some fettling but I got it absolutely right. Also the guitar arrived sealed from the factory pretty dirty so I've cleaned it up perfectly.

It's now perfect and as it should be. Plays brilliantly, all the Lifeson tones are there. Comes complete with original factory case and even the original packaging from the factory. The film they put on the pickups is still on and everything is as you would expect from a brand new guitar, this one had just been set up. The new signature model of Alex Lifeson, guitarist of the legendary Canadian rock band "Rush"!

This guitar is the result of a collaboration between Alex Lifeson and the luthiers at Epiphone in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Alex Lifeson signature models have been released by Gibson in the past, and now they have taken that collaboration even further with the release of the Alex Lifeson Les Paul Standard Axcess. The guitar also features a push/pull volume control for coil splitting and a Graph Tech Ghost Floyd Rose. These features provide access to both traditional magnetic humbucker tone and realistic acoustic tone (piezo) with the Graph Tech Ghost Floyd Rose. Plus, you can blend the acoustic and magnetic voices to create rich, layered sounds that can be output via the mono output jacks, or you can use two cables to output the magnetic and piezo voices separately!
